On 22^nd September 2008 the school's planning application was approved in full.

This means that, with the help of a DCFS grant of £7.5m, we will be able to improve our educational facilities and grounds to provide our pupils with the amenities they need and deserve.

Our plan is to complete the project in time for the school's centenary celebrations, which will commence in September 2011. But our pupils will begin to benefit from as early as September 2009.
