Congratulations to all the students who have got involved in the STEM projects and Design Sketchboooks as part of the VexIQ Robotics programme. I was mightily impressed with the displays of their work, and their enthusiasm and skill in talking about their projects, which they shared with us on Wednesday lunchtime. Projects ranged from a robot teddy to support mental health, to artificial intelligence for use in medicine and robotics to aid with pollination by bees, and many more. We certainly have some inspirational scientists of the future in our midst! Stop press: as I write this, we have just hosted a huge Vex event and our students have won yet more awards and another team are through to World Championships – well done and more details next week!
