Netball: It has been great to see the girls’ enthusiasm for netball continue to grow, as numerous lunch times and afternoons are spent on the netball courts practising their shooting, footwork and ball skills. The girls are eager to learn and have been playing with determination and focus in a variety of fixtures this week.

Senior Netball: Congratulations to our senior team for achieving the silver medal at the Barnet Schools competition. There was an array of talent on show and the girls did extremely well winning all their games and only losing to Mill Hill School in the final.

Netball Results for the week:

Seniors won against Hendon School 5-3

Year 10 won against Hendon School 5-3

Year 8 won against Copthall School 12-0

Year 8 won against Hendon School 15-0

Year 7 won against Copthall School 13-0

Year 7 lost against Hendon School 13-2

Highgate Netball Tournament: Well played to our U15 & U19 teams who played brilliantly at the tournament at Highgate School on Saturday against superb competition. Girls of the Tournament: Alice Lock (U15) and Lucy Di (U19).

Cricket: Congratulations to Anna Herbert (8H) who has been selected for the Middlesex U13 Winter Training Squad, having been doing trials over the last few weeks. Fantastic achievement Anna, we are all really proud of you.

Cross Country: Congratulations to all the girls who took part in the Cross Country event at Allianz Park on Thursday – fantastic performances – well done everyone! Our top three runners in each category were as follows:

Year 7: Ava Burkitt-Grice, 22nd; Yasmin Hayes, 42nd; Nandinee Thatte, 43rd

Years 8/9: Hannah Giles, 3rd; Beatrice Bannister, 5th; Sabrina Radzik-Rahman, 9th

Year 10: Nina Halpenny, 1st; Ellie Playfoot-Orme, 2nd; Emilie Sunnucks, 3rd.
