Congratulations to Year 7 Green Reps Aarya A and Kyalsin M, along with the Year 12 Green Team Isha P, Labdhi O and Gia B for their participation in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch 2026. The students braved wet and windy conditions to observe and record the bird species visiting the HBS site over one hour of a school lunchtime. We spotted robins, blackbirds, magpies, carrion crows, black-headed gulls, blue tits, great tits, woodpigeons and (with the help of binoculars) a pied wagtail, as well as flock of very noisy rose-ringed parakeets flying overhead.
