Year 9 MFL Art Appreciation Enrichment Day

On Monday 13th October, we went to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery for an MFL trip. It was a great way to enjoy the art painted by people of different cultures and read the meaning behind it. All the artworks there were beautiful and it was a fun way to spend the day! We all filled out an MFL booklet answering questions and writing about French, Spanish and German paintings that helped our linguistic skills. We also walked across the bridge overlooking the Thames to eat lunch at the Southbank Centre, so we were able to get a beautiful view of London. As a year, we are so grateful to have had this amazing opportunity to broaden our understanding of the modern foreign languages we study. Everyone enjoyed the day so much.
