Embracing Neurodiversity: A Guide For Families in The Teenage Years – Dr Bettina Hohnen

Clinical Psychologist Dr Bettina Hohnen will be running a course in the new year called ‘Embracing Neurodiversity: A Guide For Families in The Teenage Years’.

This course combines Dr Hohnen’s expertise in neurodiversity, attachment theory, and adolescent brain development. It’s designed for neurodiverse families with pre-teen and teenage children.

Key Course Details:

  • Four 90-minute sessions
  • Mix of presentations, videos, and real-life examples
  • Interactive Q&A to address specific family needs
  • Recordings available for 2 weeks post-session
  • Flexible attendance – each session valuable on its own

The aim of the course is to equip neurodiverse families with both an understanding of neurodiversity in adolescence and the practical tools to support themselves and their teens. The ultimate goal is to help families embrace the unique challenges and celebrate the extraordinary potential of neurodiverse teens.

Dr Hohnen would like to ensure that all families who can benefit from this course have the opportunity to participate, regardless of their financial circumstances so if financial considerations present a barrier to your attendance, please contact her directly.
