Admissions to Year 7

Admission to The Henrietta Barnett School for Year 7 is by academic selection, with a First Round Entrance Test in Verbal, Non-Verbal reasoning and English, followed by a Second Round English and Mathematics test.

ENTRANCE TEST INFORMATION: SEPTEMBER 2025 TEST FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 ENTRY

Offers for Entry to Year 7 September 2026 were made on Monday 2nd March.

The top 60 on the waiting list have been advised of their position.

Candidates ranked lower than 60 have not been informed of their position, as based on previous years’ experience they are unlikely to receive an offer.

Second round offers were made on Thursday 26th March. As of 29^th June we have offered up to number 36 on the waiting list. If there are any changes to this position, the website will be updated as and when it happens. Please do not contact the school.

Applications for the Entrance Examination in September 2026 for Entry in September 2027 are now closed. We do not accept late applications.

The Published Admission Number (PAN) for September 2027 entry is 120.

OPEN DAY – SUMMER 2027

The date of the next Open Day has not yet been published but will take place in the summer term 2027. Details will be available on the website once confirmed and tickets will have to be booked. The school does not hold a register of interest.

We only hold one open day a year and do not offer individual visits nor small group visits to the school.

If your daughter is successful in securing a place at the school, there will be an opportunity to attend the Offer Holders event at the beginning of March.
