Admission to The Henrietta Barnett School for Year 7 is by academic selection, with a First Round Entrance Test in Verbal, Non-Verbal reasoning and English, followed by a Second Round English and Mathematics test.

Offers have now been made to the top 36 on the waiting list (updated 11th September 2024). We are not expecting any further movement. The waiting list will remain open until the end of the Autumn Term.

Admissions Policy for Entry in 2024-2025

ENTRANCE TEST INFORMATION: SEPTEMBER 2024 TEST FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 ENTRY

The Entrance examinations for Year 7 Entry September 2025 have now taken place.

The deadline for receipt of the Common Application Form (CAF) with your local authority is 31^st October 2024. The outcome emails will be sent by the local authority on the evening of Monday 3 March 2025.

OPEN DAY – SUMMER 2025

The next open day will take place on Thursday 3rd July 2025. Due to capacity constraints, this will be open to Current Year 5 students and their parents/guardians only.

Information about how to book tickets for the Open Day will be published on the website nearer the time.

Please note that we are unable to offer individual tours of the school at any point.

Successful candidates will have an additional opportunity to visit the school after National Offers Day.
