Support Us

In order to maintain The Henrietta Barnett School’s high educational standards, fundraising is a financial necessity - government funding enables us to provide the basics, such as staffing and essential equipment but to truly provide what our students need to thrive and excel in a safe, well-maintained school site, we rely on the support of parents and our wider community.

The generosity of previous generations of HBS students and parents has ensured that our current students can enjoy an inspirational learning environment. Over the years, the regular giving from parents has made it possible to keep up a programme of development which has transformed the School and made it a wonderful place for our students to enjoy.

HBS strives to deliver the highest teaching standards as well as to provide top-quality facilities. As a school, we consistently out perform most independent schools in terms of exam results – a testament to our remarkable students and outstanding staff. We are proud to be able to offer a truly brilliant state school experience to our students, regardless of background and financial position. For this exceptional education, the cost to parents is zero, if they choose to make no parental contribution to the school.

However, support from our community is vital to HBS. We ask our families to prioritise the school in their planned spending and give £50 a month to allow us to continue with our extremely high standard of education and facilitate further investment in our facilities. We have some families who give more and some who give less – we are sincerely grateful for all support from our generous community.
