I was delighted to be able to take part in a national fixture at Lords Cricket Ground! It was an amazing experience playing on such an immaculate pitch, despite our game being held on the nursery ground of course. I was playing on the side for Lords U17 but unfortunately things didn’t go our way in the first match and we lost then we had a break and a tour around the pavilion and lords’ very own museum which had some interesting historical insights and fascinating honours boards. We then proceeded to win our second match by 3 wickets. It was a sunny and fun day and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have played.
