The main hall was packed out on Thursday 22nd January as we welcomed Year 12 and their parents for our Higher Education evening. Mrs. Macleod  opened the event, encouraging our students to explore widely and be curious and creative about their next steps beyond Sixth Form. Dr. Ana Hastoy, from Christ Church College, Oxford then spoke about applying to Oxbridge, giving plenty of detailed advice. 

The practicalities of the application process were outlined by Mrs. Graff and Miss Moore-Bick, but  perhaps the most engaging part of the evening came from our Head Prefect team. Milly, Shaina, Aria and Tanisha talked eloquently about how they had chosen their courses and navigated the application process, giving wise advice and reassurance. The university offers they hold are testimony to their ambition, diligence and abilities.
