Admissions to Year 7

Admission to The Henrietta Barnett School for Year 7 is by academic selection, with a First Round Entrance Test in Verbal, Non-Verbal reasoning and English, followed by a Second Round English and Mathematics test.

ENTRANCE TEST INFORMATION: SEPTEMBER 2025 TEST FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 ENTRY

Offers for Entry to Year 7 September 2026 were made on Monday 2nd March.

The top 60 on the waiting list have been advised of their position.

Candidates ranked lower than 60 have not been informed of their position, as based on previous years’ experience they are unlikely to receive an offer.

Second round offers were made on Thursday 26th March. As of the 11^th June we have offered up to number 32 on the waiting list. If there are any changes to this position, the website will be updated as and when it happens. Please do not contact the school.

Applications for the Entrance Examination in September 2026 for Entry in September 2027 are now open and will close on the 1^st July 2026 at 5pm.

OPEN DAY – SUMMER 2026

The next Open Day will take place on Tuesday 30th June 2026. Due to capacity constraints, this will be open to Year 5 students and parents only.

Unfortunately, the event is now at capacity as is the waiting list. If your name is on the waiting list Eventbrite will contact you if a space becomes available. Please do not contact the school.

The Open Day is heavily oversubscribed and we are unable to accommodate everyone who would like to see the school. If your daughter is successful in securing a place at the school, there will be an opportunity to attend the Offer Holders event at the beginning of March.
