Admission to The Henrietta Barnett School for Year 7 is by academic selection, with a First Round Entrance Test in Verbal, Non-Verbal reasoning and English, followed by a Second Round English and Mathematics test.

ENTRANCE TEST INFORMATION: SEPTEMBER 2024 TEST FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 ENTRY

The first round offers were made on Monday 3^rd March 2025, and the top 60 on the waiting list have been informed of their position.

Second-round offers will be made between the 24^th and 28^th March.

Please do not email the school to ask about the movement of the waiting list. For Y7 Admissions, we have offered up to position 33 on the waiting list as of 16^th April 2025.

Applications for the Entrance Examination in September 2025 for Entry in September 2026 will opened on 1^st April 2025 and close on Friday 11^th July 2025.

The Admissions Policy for 2026-27 can be found below. We are pleased to draw your attention to our increase in Published Admission Number (PAN) to 120 for September 2026 entry.

OPEN DAY – SUMMER 2025

The next open day will take place on Thursday 3rd July 2025. Due to capacity constraints, this will be open to Current Year 5 students and their parents/guardians only.

A link to book tickets for the Open Day will be available on the website on Thursday 8^th May at 12 noon.

Please note that we are unable to offer individual tours of the school at any point.

Successful candidates will have an additional opportunity to visit the school after National Offers Day.
