Our Personal Development programme aims to assist students to develop the confidence, knowledge and skills to manage themselves and their relationships and equip them for adult life. As such, it is a fundamental part of the broader curriculum. For students in Years 7-11, this is largely delivered through the tutorial and timetabled Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) lessons, and for Sixth Formers this is through their tutorial and Life Skills programme.
The focus is on four key themes: Relationship with Oneself, Relationship with Others, Global Citizenship and Community and Planning for the Future.
