2025 Results

We encourage our students to be ambitious and adventurous in their aspirations, to pursue their dreams, and to work hard to achieve them. Their education at Henrietta Barnett has set them well on their way, with these exceptional results being a testament to their hard work and commitment to their studies.

Our dedicated staff have worked closely with each student to ensure that they have planned a next stage in their education that will enable them to achieve their personal goals. 28 of our Year 13 students gained an Oxbridge place which represents 21% of the year group, whilst 121 secured places at Russell Group universities overall, representing 90% of the year group.

We are proud of all of our students and wish them every success with the exciting futures that lay ahead of them. Full details of results can be found below.

GCSE

2025 Results

We are incredibly proud of this year group for these truly outstanding results – and because, like students in previous years, they have also found time to take part in productions, music concerts and debating, as well as going on residential trips abroad organised by departments and volunteering in the community. They were a delightful year group: hard-working, thoughtful, full of character and lots of fun – all of the qualities that we try to foster at HBS!

Our warmest congratulations to the students, and their teachers for their outstanding teaching and commitment to the students, and their parents for their continuing support.

THE HENRIETTA BARNETT SCHOOL NATIONAL COMPARISON

The ‘Progress 8’ score is a government measure of academic progress that pupils make from the end of Key Stage 2 to the end of Key Stage 4. The government are not able to calculate Progress 8 scores for academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26. This is because there is no KS2 assessment data available to calculate the baseline for Progress 8 for these years due to Covid-19 disruption.

Our  latest score is the 2023/24 academic year which was a figure of +1.09, one of the highest figures at a national level. This demonstrates the impact of the high quality teaching and learning that students at the school receive.

In 2025, our Attainment 8 score (how well pupils have performed in up to 8 qualifications) was 87.2 (compared to a local authority average of 56.5 and an England average of 45.9).

For DfE schools’ performance tables, and comparison data relating to The Henrietta Barnett School, (including Progress 8 score, Attainment 8 score, English Baccalaureate (EBacc) average point score (APS), and the most recent 16-18 performance measures), go to Compare School Performance Service.
